The Rosary: Two Types

The Rosary: Two Rosary Types that Bring Peace

The Rosary is the Bible on a String ~Fr. Ronan Murphy

My spouse and I have made many rosaries over the years, both praying and actually making the physical rosary. We use Acai Seeds from Colombia (my spouse is from Cali, Colombia) and string the seeds and tie knots and attach crosses and we have our beautiful rosaries like the ones above that we made. When we lived in Colombia we saw that they sold them a lot in front of the churches and out and about and we loved them, bought them and prayed on them and then learned how to make them ourselves. My spouse says two rosaries a day one Traditional Rosary in the evening using the five different mysteries of the rosary and then one in the morning a Divine Mercy Rosary. I usually say a Divine Mercy Rosary in the afternoons, many Catholics say a Divine Mercy Rosary at 3pm each day, the time Jesus died, as the Divine Mercy Rosary focuses on the death of Jesus and His mercy for all of us here on Earth.

The Two Rosary Types

Saying a rosary and praying brings peace. We are not only praying to God, Focusing on the Death of Jesus and His love and mercy for us, and with our Mother Mary for intercession to all of us, we are connecting with our Heavenly Father and being with Him in prayer. Miracles are abound when we pray and focus on God's love and give thanks for His love and mercy and grace.

I love the Fatima Prayer from the Rosary and say it daily, it is a prayer for the entire world, all peoples, so it is nice to say for all of us and humanity as a whole,  if you are not familiar with it, see below:

If you want more peace in your life, say a rosary!
