Rainbows are Miracles from God!

I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between 

me and the earth. I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living 

creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.

Rainbows are a common phenomenon often after rain showers and storms. We can see many rainbows in Florida. According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, The Definition of rainbow (Entry 1 of 2):

1: an arc or circle that exhibits in concentric bands the colors of the spectrum and that is formed opposite the sun by the refraction and reflection of the sun's rays in raindrops, spray, or mist

2a: a multicolored array

Rainbows are formed and caused by the refraction and dispersion of the sun's light by rain or other water droplets in the atmosphere. Rainbows usually include the following seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Alternatively, we are taught to remember them by the name, Roy G. Biv.

Rainbows often symbolize peace and serenity and can also be associated with good luck. Rainbows have some religious and spiritual significance and always leave you in awe when you see one in the sky. The science of rainbows is a beautiful phenomenon. If you look very closely to the right, there is a second rainbow in the photo, it is a double rainbow. Rainbows are proof that miracles do exist. Remember that you are one of God's great miracles! We are all miracles from God and not alone. He is with us always!
