Be a Miracle by Always Responding with a Blessing Like Jesus Always Used to Say!

The passage from Luke says it all! We always need to love "everybody always." No matter the circumstances it is important to always forgive and respond with a blessing. Today we live in an age of uncertainty. People are anxious with the pandemic, the violence, rioting, crime, a loss of a job, it being an election year, etc. There is a lot going on today that has people anxious, frustrated, worried, emotional, and even  feeling rage.  The priest this past Sunday spoke about this during the homily too, that we need to understand the circumstances now and why people may be feeling this way. Even if you are mistreated today, ignored, hated, talked about, or slapped or physically or verbally confronted, turn the other cheek and bless them just the same. It is easier said than done, but it feels better when we can bless others who are dealing with the chaos of today and may not be in their right frame of mind. Bless all and try to realize we are going through trying times. This too, will pass and try as hard as you can to bless all who may mistreat you  as they say in The Beatitudes, which are any of the blessings said by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount as told in the biblical New Testament,  those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The four Beatitudes of Luke 6:20–23 read as follows:

Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied.

Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh.

Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.

I hope this mission and discipleship is meaningful to you and reflective for you in your life! Keep the Faith always! God is Good!
