God Made Nature to Free Us! To Bring Us Closer to Him! What a Blessing!

I really love this quote by Emerson in his essay, Nature. The essay is somewhat hard to read and follow, but it does have some really nice messages in it about life, God, nature, and our world. Spirit is often referred to as God, so the below quote is saying that natures is wearing the colors of God! How beautiful. I think it is so true when you look at nature, the sun, the wind, the ocean, the hills, the birds, all of nature you feel God, you feel close, it takes you away from all earthy troubles and brings you peace. That is what God wants to do is bring us peace and that is why He gave us all of this beautiful nature to enjoy that surrounds us. The changing of the leave in the fall, how beautiful it is in the northeast, Oneonta New York is so beautiful in autumn. I find so much peace and always feel so close to God when I go to the beach each day or see the redheaded woodpecker, ibis, ducks, egrets, moorhens, etc. out by the canal each day. Nature is God loving us, showing us His love and bringing us His peace. What a blessing and miracle God gave us in nature!
