Blessed to Attend a Mass at St Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach Yesterday!

What a beautiful church, St. Helen's! We really loved the church and mass. Just so many people at the 4pm vigil mass on Saturdays. Too many people for a pandemic! The church is old, Spanish/Mission style. Very pretty windows and statues. Nice alter and sanctuary. The priests seemed nice. People seemed nice. They had books and missiletes which I like and appreciate. They had a beautiful statue of St. Helen out front. I loved the one dedicated to the unborn on the side of the church. I will show that one on another post.

According to, https://www.biography.com/religious-figure/st-helena,   St Helen was "Born in Bithynia, Asia Minor (present-day Turkey), circa 248, St. Helena was married to Roman Emperor Constantius and had a son who would become Constantine I, also known as Constantine the Great, the first Roman emperor to become a Christian. St. Helena, who converted as well, oversaw the construction of churches on Holy Land sites. She would later be credited with discovering the cross upon which Jesus Christ is believed to have been crucified. St. Helena died circa 328 in Nicomedia (present-day Turkey)."
