Blessed by the Book of Hebrews, Blessed that God Came in Human Form and Died for Our Sins! He Loves Us So Much!

 

Since we, God's children, are human beings,  share in blood and made of flesh, He too shared in us, in just the same way and became flesh and blood too, by being born in human form, for only as a human being could He die and in dying break the power of the devil who had the power of death.

Blessed by the Book of Hebrews! What a great message of love for all of us! He died for us and for our sins, He came in human form for us, to be like us so that we might believe. Many didn't and still don't today although it is very clear from this Bible verse what God's intentions were. What a blessing! The Epistle to the Hebrews as this is also known, or Letter to the Hebrews, or in the Greek manuscripts, simply To the Hebrews is one of the many books of the New Testament. It has some very old overtones to it, like as if it was from the old testament.  The text really does not mention the name of its author, but was traditionally attributed to St. Paul the Apostle since he wrote a lot of the new testament. I read this Bible verse this morning and it really resonated with me.  How can we not believe in Jesus?  How could any other religion not believe after reading this and knowing that this happened? God came to us in human form through Jesus Christ, He died for us and our sins,  and in dying broke the power of the devil who had the power of death over all of us. This is extraordinary! What a blessing! We are blessed by a very faithful high Priest! God! Jesus Christ!  Alleluia!
