Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story on GodTube

What a movie! We watched this last night on Faith TV, it was so good! It is long with commercials, 2.5 hours, but very good. So inspirational! I didn't know all of this about Dorothy Day. My father spoke about her a lot and admired her. He had some books about her.  I wonder if he knew she had an abortion, although she didn't want it, the man did.  It changed her to find God and help others. She worked helping others until 1980, she was so good at believing in God to help with the homeless, hungry, naked,  addicts, etc. She really helped the needy and worked toward social injustice and the poor and needy. I highly recommend this movie and for all people to join in becoming Catholic Workers, like she did, she became a Catholic after all what happened to her when she was younger,  helping others and doing the work of Jesus Christ! We all could glean a great deal from the life of Dorothy Day and all she did to help the needy and marginalized. She cared!  She tried to look at each one of them through the eyes of Jesus, helping them, being a good example and disciple for our Lord! What a blessing when we can be angels for others in this life!
