We are More Blessed in a World When Unborn Lives Matter!

We hear a lot about preserving abortion in the news today. Why don’t unborn lives matter? Why is it okay in society to murder the voiceless, innocent, helpless babies inside of the womb who have no say in their own lives? We say we are an advanced civilized humane society, but we allow the killing of innocent lives who have souls, created by God. We see on bumper stickers today and people advocating to save the whales, feed the birds, having no kill animal shelters for rescue dogs, but where are the bumper stickers that say “Unborn Lives Matter?” It is hypocritical that the same people who advocate for saving rescue dogs support abortions and women allowed to abort their unborn baby inside them. Mother Teresa said, “It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.” Abortion today has become a matter of convenience not thinking about the act of murder of another life. St. Teresa also said, Abortion has become the greatest destroyer of peace, because it destroys two lives, the life of the child and the conscience of the mother.” Since the verdict of Roe vs. Wade some 65 million abortions have been done in the USA, what a sin to lose so many innocent lives who had no say in the matter at all. A report I heard this week on the news said abortion is made as such a convenience to women today that upward of 5000+ women had five or more abortions in one year alone. Convenient for them, but not for the unborn.  How cruel!  How sad for our so called civilized society as a whole to allow this atrocity.   I pray each day the Bishop Sheen Prayer to end abortion, I also pray to end the death penalty, both are wrong,  we all should be pro-life from conception to natural death, God breathed life into each of us and it should be Him alone who decides the life of each person created in His image.  Please pray for the unborn, to end abortion in our country and world. Unborn lives do matter!
