Blessed When Our Mind is Governed by the Spirit with Life and Peace!

 

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For those who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

We all need to remember that the mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace! We need to let our minds be controlled by the Holy Spirit! God! Filled with Jesus Christ! This is all that matters on this Earth School! I get frustrated a lot, with the news, with our government, with the greed, the mediocrity, all the crime and wicked/bad things that we hear about going on in society, it can be very frustrating and worrisome. We need to learn to turn it all over to God! It is not easy, I struggle with it too. You get depressed, saddened, hurt, upset, disappointed, it is a constant struggle when we let all of this carnal world get to us. We need to turn it all over to God the best we can and know that He will make it right for us. This too soon will pass. God is on our side and things will be better when we trust in God alone. We have to pray, turn it all over to God, it is never easy, that is for sure, but sometimes the beach, a walk, the gym, a swim, some prayer time, talking to others, all may help to put us at ease and get us closer to Spirit. We need to live in Spirit and are more blessed when we do, we cannot let this carnal material world get to us, using drugs, being suicidal, drinking, or any other vice or going off are the ways to go. We need to turn it all over to God and know when we find refuge in Him alone and be governed by the Holy Spirit, it will get us through anything! So blessed learning about all of this! The Bible is packed with many gems to help us in life!
