Blessed When We Live Clean, Innocent Lives, Shining Like Bright Lights in a Crazy World!

 

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

-Philippians 2:13-15

What a beautiful message and reminder! I read it this morning in my Choosing Life Devotional by Dodie Osteen! She has a prayer for each day with a Bible verse, write-up, and prayer, very nice. This one stood out! We need to be good people! We need to please God. Not to complain, argue, or be negative. We need to live clean upright innocent lives, children of God. We live in crazy times. We see it daily, how bad our government is, our corrupt and fraudulent all has become. We see so much waste, abuse, and irresponsible people. We see so much greed, selfishness, and mediocrity, it is a very crooked and perverse world we live in now. We cannot fall to be like that. God is working in us! He is giving me the desire to be good, to please Him, do do all correctly, without complaining, being negative, and arguing. We need to live clean lives, innocent lives, shine our lights and be beacons of hope for others in this crazy world we live in now. This Bible verse is really important, it is a good message we all can glean a great deal from. God is working in me and I am blessed!
