Blessed When We Trust in the Name of the Lord our God!

 

Now this I know:

    The Lord gives victory to his anointed.

He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary

    with the victorious power of his right hand.

 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,

    but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

They are brought to their knees and fall,

    but we rise up and stand firm.

-Psalm 20:6-8

We only need to trust in God! Not in horses, chariots, other people, things of this world, both carnal and material, we only need to trust in God alone! We need to learn to stand firm in God alone. While humans will always disappoint and hurt, God never will! The Bible and verses like this are good reminders for us that we need to place all our trust only in God alone. He does not want us to put it in anything else, like horses, man, chariots, and other material things. God has given us victory in Him alone as His anointed people. We are more blessed when we place all our trust in the name of our Lord our God!
