Blessed By God With a Mission Still on This Earth with Life Here! Praising His Name Always!

“Here is a test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: If you´re alive it isn't.”

-Richard Bach

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

-Psalm 150:6

Every single day that we are alive, we need to praise the Lord! God is so good to each one of us. We often forget, but when we read the Bible, we find that in Psalms 103:1-17, it outlines 17 reasons for praising God for all He does for us in our lives. Like Richard Bach said above, if you are still alive today, your mission is not over and you still have so much to live for and so much praise to give our Lord as well. I saw on the news the other day of an old man, a veteran, who has many health problems, but he had a good attitude, and said the same, if I am still alive, God has me here for a reason and I am still alive and need to make the best out of what I have been given each day. We just do the best we can and when we count our blessings, like the 17 below, it really helps. God is so good and we often forget about that. I am praising God's name today that I felt better than yesterday, and pray tomorrow will be better, that I will continue to have restored health and well being and feel good and blessed knowing that God is always so good to me and has allowed me to do so much in my life, and now it is time to turn most of my efforts over to Him and what His purpose is for me here on this Earth School!

17 Reasons for Praising God from Psalm 103: 1-17

1 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.

2 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; may I never forget the good things he does for me.

3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.

5 He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

6 The LORD gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly.

7 He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.

8 The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

9 He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever.

10 He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.

11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.

12 He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

13 The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

14 For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.

15 Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.

16 The wind blows, and we are gone— as though we had never been here.

17 But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children.

-Psalms 103:1-17
