More Blessed When We Pray and Give Alms in Private, Not Asking for Any Public Recognition!

 

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.

In a time of giving at Christmas sometimes it is better to do so without recognition and public announcement. We need to give and pray in private and not do it to get fame or recognition, but from our hearts for God. We will receive our reward in Heaven, God is watching. He knows our hearts, that is all that matters, not what others know or think, see, or hear. Know that God hears and sees us, He favors our goodness and prayer and doing for Him pleases Him greatly, we do not need any other recognition from others only form Him and He will welcome us to Heaven in His Glory someday!
