Living For God Alone! Making Jesus and Heaven My Number One Priority, To Do What is Right!

 

“There’s trouble ahead when you live only for the approval of others, saying what flatters them, doing what indulges them. Popularity contests are not truth contests—look how many scoundrel preachers were approved by your ancestors! Your task is to be true, not popular. “To you who are ready for the truth, I say this: Love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the supple moves of prayer for that person. If someone slaps you in the face, stand there and take it. If someone grabs your shirt, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. No more payback. Live generously."

God is taking care of us! I only need His approval in my life! I do not need anyone else's approval. I am following God and His ways so to be with Him in Heaven! We need to live for the truth! God is the truth! The Bible and Jesus are the truth! Following them over humans. They lie and are deceptive, they do a lot of bad things, ego, greed, corruption, fraud, they become slaves of satan and forget about right from wrong. We see this in society today, especially from most of our elected, in government, in administration and leadership. Is that really leadership to be a slave for the devil? Jesus gives some great advice here in Luke, so true! We have to bless those that hate us,  curse us, do us wrong, we have to turn the other cheek and forgive them. Don't sell your soul to the devil! Take the high road! Be above those that bring you down. Love them anyway, bless them just the same! Great advice from Jesus! I think I will work on always trying to follow Jesus over humans, recall, the humans are the ones who murdered Jesus. They will murder us too, so trust Jesus, follow Him, and live by His teachings and you will have great peace and gain eternal life in Heaven with Jesus Christ! That is what should be our main purpose in life! Thank you Jesus for being my teacher in life!
