Sing to and Praise Our Lord, He Will Rescue Us from The Wicked! He is with Me Always!

I hear the whisperings of many:

"Terror on every side!

Denounce! let us denounce him!"

All those who were my friends

are on the watch for any misstep of mine.

"Perhaps he will be trapped; then we can prevail,

and take our vengeance on him."

But the LORD is with me, like a mighty champion:

my persecutors will stumble, they will not triumph.

In their failure they will be put to utter shame,

to lasting, unforgettable confusion.

O LORD of hosts, you who test the just,

who probe mind and heart,

Let me witness the vengeance you take on them,

for to you I have entrusted my cause.

Sing to the LORD,

praise the LORD,

For he has rescued the life of the poor

from the power of the wicked!

-Jeremiah 20:10-13

God is with us always! He is fighting our battles and rescuing us from the wicked! This Bible verse is very similar to what is going on today in our society and world. There is so much wicked all around us. Always looking to trap us, the vengeance, the shame, the tests, it is hard today!  Today with so much political persecution. No fair justice for all, one sided, two-tiered justice. So much hate and derangement, we have never seen it this bad. So many who are hypocrites. They want to save lives of killers or shooters, yet they think it is fine to kill innocent, helpless, voiceless babies. Nothing makes sense anymore. It is lawless, no one respects one another, there is no logic. Spending is out of control, no one is fiscally responsible, especially our government elected. They do insider trading, yet put Martha Stewart in jail for it. They have all sold their souls to the devil, this Bible verse from Jeremiah is a good reminder for us, God will save us from the wicked, the injustice, the vengeance, the hate and persecution. We must stand tall! They will not triumph, God is good and good will always triumph over evil. We cannot live in fear when we have God on our side!
