Let God Be True! Follow Him, Be Sinless the Best You Can, Know Your Goal of Heaven is the Number One Priority!

 

An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him. He will die for lack of self-control; he will be lost because of his great foolishness.

-Proverbs 5:22-23

Another version of this Bible verse can also say something like, we all need to beware that our sins don’t overtake us and that the scars of your own conscience don’t become the ropes that tie you up preventing you from getting into Heaven. Those who choose wickedness die for lack of self-control, for their foolish ways lead them astray, carrying them away as hostages— kidnapped captives robbed of destiny. Your own sins will capture and imprison your soul. We do not want this to happen!  You will be unable to free ourselves. You will never again love God, your spouse, or godly ways when you sin and feel bad and step away from God. We need to stay on the path of God and know our number one priority is getting into Heaven and to get there we need to sin no more, to follow the God, His Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and be people of goodwill. We see today so many bad elected and so called leaders, they sin so much, they lie, steal, cheat, selfish, greedy, commit fraud, embezzle money, sell their souls to the devil and are his slaves, even selling their own country out for millions. We have a lot of crime families today in politics and administration/leadership. There is just so much corruption! Do they not know all their sins are holding them back from Heaven? We need to pray for our country, elected, and so called leaders. We need to pray they change from their wicked ways and turn to Jesus and be more upright!  Don't be held captive and be a slave for the devil!
