Blessed that We are the Church with Jesus Christ as Our Cornerstone!

All the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple.

- Ephesians 2:21

Jesus Christ is our church! We are the church in Christ! Not an actual church or particular Christian faith or denomination or building. Jesus comes first. He never intended us to have actual buildings and churches and all these denominations. We are to follow Him. He is our example of how we need to live. Not following how priests or preachers, motivational speakers, and other people of the clothe. Recently in the new episodes of The Chosen,  Jesus was speaking to some high priests and pharisees and was being tested by them, as they often did, recall they were the ones who wanted Him dead. They tested and tested Jesus, yes, they may know their Bible or Torah of the time, but they did not practice what they preached. Jesus told them you are not examples of what the good book is telling you. That is the problem today. We have a priest at our old church he will not look at you, he ignores you and avoids you. Another preacher sells his books, but then when you make a donation for his book, he does not send it as promised, he sells all his books through donations, maybe it is a way to avoid taxes on the book sales, but there is something unethical when someone donates for a book, but then he never sends it as promised. The church today has become very corrupt, we see it in many denominations, many say the Vatican is very corrupt and that is why Pope Benedict stepped down. The Mornings with God App had a nice write up, Bible verse, and prayer about all of this today, the App said, "The Church is a glorious spiritual temple. Christ Himself is the corner stone. Nothing is built safely in this world, which does not rest on Christ. All these centuries’ believers in Christ have been built into the walls, which are rising continually. The temple is not yet completed, and will not be until the last to accept Christ is built into it. Every one of us is a block on this mystic wall. Large stones and small are used. The smallest is just as important as the largest. If left out, there would be a place left empty where there ought to have been a stone. Each one has his place in the temple. Then, in turn, each of us becomes a foundation for others to build on. We must be sure that those who rest on us, thrust us, depend on us, shall never be disappointed. The other day it was seen that the stones in a building were breaking. At one spot there had been a rotten stone, and it had crumbled and the stones over it had shrunk. We must be good stones that never will crumble."

Let God and the Holy Spirit live within you! Jesus may you dwell in me always! Heaven bound is my #1 goal in life!
