Greed and Price Gouging Seems So Common Place Today, Sad for our Society and Humanity as a Whole! Pray!

Greed, corruption, and price gouging seems so common place today. People use the excuse of inflation or COVID a lot to make it look like greed, inflation, corruption, deception, and darn right unethical behavior acceptable from big business and government. We see it so much today. I saw it firsthand at the car dealer this week as I wanted to get a new car, I had my car for 8 years, it was 10 years old, I stilled loved it, but thought it was time. I kind of wish I kept it or went to one of the other types of car dealers like Carmax or Offleaseonly. They are more straightforward and fair with fees. Today car dealers have so many gimmicks to try to sell their cars, they lie a lot and deceive their customers, like saying there is a deal discount of $3,330 online, but then they won't honor it. Then they mark up the car price from the company as a market adjustment price by $5000. They also add over $2000 in fees, then the taxes. They say they will give you a good price on your trade like 130% over KBB, but then come up with so many reason why they can't. I have not bought a brand new car in 26 years, now I know why. I have always gone to the other no bargaining, straightforward places, I regret not doing that this time too. Live and learn. It just showed me how greedy, corrupt, and what price gougers so many dealers are today, jacking up the MRSP by 30%, how greedy can a dealer be. I saw that their was an article in MotorTrend about it. Some say corporate greed is driving inflation, I think this is a big part of it. These markups expose just how greedy they really are. It is sad to see all the bad reviews today about all the deceptive and dishonest dealers, then they act like it is common place and acceptable to do. It seems like commission driven careers like car salespeople and relators often have to stoop to a lower level, it is all about sales, bonuses, getting commissions,  and the greed and ambition all come into play for them, money and greed go hand in hand. All we can do is trust in the Lord, find refuge in God alone, knowing people who become greedy and ambitious preying on and deceiving others, almost as thieves. I do not think God likes this or businesses that behave this way. They are not using their gifts God gave them, instead let things of this world covet them, consume them, and lead them astray hurting others and themselves. We need to pray for an end to greedy, corruption, and such price gouging and be upright and holy people. All we can do is trust in the Lord and not stoop to their level of doing business. Remember we are citizens of Heaven, not of this world. Do the best you can here as it seems evil is all around us.
