The Best Way to Live is to Be Rooted in Christ!

 

Have your roots planted deep in Christ. Grow in Him. Get your strength from Him. Let Him make you strong in the faith as you have been taught. Your life should be full of thanks to Him. Be careful that no one changes your mind and faith by much learning and big sounding ideas. Those things are what men dream up. They are always trying to make new religions. These leave out Christ. For Christ is not only God-like, He is God in human flesh.

-Colossians 2:7-9

This world can surely get you down! You really need to be very rooted in Christ as you live on this Earth School. You need to find your strength in God alone. Humans will always disappoint, always. Whether it is a stranger, a friend, a family member, the government, and our elected, all humans will disappoint at some point. We need to find our strength in God in these times. Although you may be a person of love, reaching out, being Christ-like, having expectations from humans that they will care like you do, when they don't not all love the same way. Not all have had a good life and upbringing like others, not all know how to receive love or give it. Many today can be very indifferent and apathetic. Nonetheless, we need to be Christ-like and disciples for Him and know that while we are here on this Earth School, God wants us to be His disciples. It is best to be rooted in Jesus, live like His example He gave the best we can and then we will not let all of human frailties get us down. Humans will disappoint, God never will, when we are rooted in Christ it makes it easier to deal with and find peace with the chaos and frustrations of human interaction and consequences. The best thing we can do is be rooted in Christ for Him to give us the strength to sustain any difficulties of this Earth School world we are in now. We want to pass the test in this school so to pass on to an eternal life in Heaven with Jesus after all is said and done. Stay rooted in Christ!
