The Only Thing that Matters is Faith Expressing Itself through Love in Our Lives! Without Love We are Nothing!

 

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

-Galatians 5:6

I like this Bible verse! I saw it today and think it is so true. We with faith, must also have love. St. Paul speaks of this too. We are nothing without love! We can have all the faith in the world, but if we do not have love, we have nothing. I remember that King and Country had a song about this as well. It is so true. We must love. We must love our neighbor as ourselves. We must love our enemies. We must love all like Jesus Christ did! I even see today priests who do not love all. We had our old priest who would never look at us, bother with us, have anything to do with us. We would see him at church and at the gym, he would completely ignore us. He showed no love, very indifferent person. We switched to another church where we found a beautiful priest, an older 84 year old Irish priest who was so full of love, he welcomed us, shook our hands, looked us in the eye, invited us to events and his home, he was kind and loving, he showed mercy too. It is so true, you can be a priest, but without love, you really are not a priest in Christ. We all need to learn to love like Jesus, to love all, to show kindness, mercy, and love to all! This is all that really matters in life!
