We are Nothing Without Love! Love Everyone-Enemies, Presidents, and Your Neighbor Like Yourself!

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

-1 Corinthians 13:1-3

I have always loved this Bible verse from Paul. It is so true, we can have it all, but if we do not have love we have nothing. For King and Country wrote a good song with this verse too, we really are nothing without love. Even priests can be a priest, but if he cannot show love or be love, he is nothing, we have experienced a priest like this, he would just ignore us, avoid us, dismiss us, and assume and judge, was never welcoming or loving, he did not have love for his brothers in Christ. We see so many people today who are without love. They are so full of hate, rage, negativity, there is no love. I just do not understand hate. No hate. I have never understood all the hate toward our President or certain political parties, none of this ever made any sense. How can a group of people have so much hate and rage? Do they have any love? It just has never made any sense or added up. Unfortunately, today we have a lot of people full of hate. I am not even sure they know why or how they got there or if it is just a cult of sorts to hate. God really turned Paul around. He had this hate for Jesus, Jesus followed him and came after him, he help to convert him to be one of the biggest follows and disciples for Christ. Paul reminds us in this Bible verse in Corinthians about how important love is. We must love all people, all, if not we live a life that is negative, deranged, sad, and depressing, carrying hate has its downfalls. We cannot live without God. If you have God and Jesus in our hearts, you cannot allow hate to permeate your being, you feel love, mercy, forgiveness, and grace. Following Jesus is the way, loving all people, our neighbors, our friends, our brothers and sisters, our parishioners, our presidents, our enemies, all people, we are nothing without love!
