We Need God in this World!

 

The world is in a state of mortal sin, and it needs absolution. Vain platitudes and ‘regeneration,’ ‘the Constitution’ and ‘progress’ are not going to save us, even though we go on shouting them louder and louder. We need a new word in our vocabulary — and that word is: God

What a quote today! I read it in my book with words from Bishop Fulton Sheen, His Wisdom where he offers a quote each day of the year. This one is so true. Our world and people today lack God. We all need God in our lives, we need it in our lives, in our schools, churches, government, everywhere we go, we need God. We have a lot of problems today. Like Bishop Sheen says, there is so much mortal sin today in our world. So much hate and so much division. The greed, corruption, fraud, and mediocrity today is unsettling and very disturbing. We see so much of the platitudes from our own government and elected today, they are without God, or think they are God. Most countries were formed on God and law and order, yet today some are trying to remove God and any law or order. It is very sad to see. Then we wonder why we have so many problems, crime, killings, fraud, theft, corruption, hate, division, and so many deranged haters. We need more prayer and God in our lives and world. Without God I am afraid how we will end up. Please pray for the return of God in our world!
