Even Nebuchadnezzar Praises God! What a Blessing When Leaders Recognize God Above Their Powers!

And at the end of the [a]time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever:
For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
And His kingdom is from generation to generation.
All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand
Or say to Him, “What have You done?

~Daniel 4:34-35

I love that some leaders lead with God, put God first and praise and thank Him. This nice Bible verse in Daniel shares that about this King Nebuchadnezzar who was known to most historians as Nebuchadnezzar II. This king ruled Babylonia from 605 to 562 BC. He was the most influential and longest-reigning kings of the Neo-Babylonian period, King Nebuchadnezzar ran the city of Babylon to its height of power and prosperity and success. Maybe because he gave thanks and praise to God and recognized there was a God above all. That is what we all have to do as humans, as God and religion are very personal. However, most today live without God. Many countries have become dictatorships to some degree, most leaders are corrupted, greedy, and self-serving along with their families, as we can see today in our country and many around the world. Most do not live with God in their hearts, if they did, they would know that gaining so much money and wealth and power is not what is important in this life. Most elected and so called leaders today are not people of goodwill, they are slaves for Satan and do his bidding and bad as opposed to what God really wants. The greed, corruption, fraud, abuse of power, and self-serving and selfish ways today of so many people today is why our world is in the situation it is in. We need to return to goodness, God, being people of goodwill, following God's commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and living a life of service for others without the selfishness and ego we see today. It is sad to see, so many without God, and God gave us an example, Jesus, for all of us to live by. But most cannot even take one hour a week to go to church or time each day to pray to our Lord. Then we wonder why we are in such a state. All you can do it put your trust in the Lord, not all will, but He is faithful to those who do, He will get you through anything and promises to send His son Jesus to rule the world for 1000 years as our King of the Universe. Praying we get some good leaders until the return of Jesus, some honest, upright, holy leaders, who praise God and serve the people like Jesus did!
