This cartoon is very profound and it is from 1939. I love all of the characters in this cartoon, the squirrels, bunnies, and chipmunks are all so cute. The music is lovely, I love that Christmas song. It is a good message for all of us, done after WWI and around WWII, it shows the ego of man, the wars, the killing, how we do not follow the Ten Commandments and we sin and kill. We can send supposedly man to the moon, create vaccines that save lives, do so much as man, but without God, and with man sinning, we have a sad world without peace. The problem is people do not have Shalom, peace from God, to live peacefully having God within. We all need this type of peace. So to get along, to think of others, stop our sin and selfishness and greed, and think of us a collective whole. Like the grandfather talks about as he reads the story to his grandchildren explaining why there is no more man. They killed themselves off. We need God, we need prayer, and we need to stop sinning and living for God, have God's peace in us that would, His wholeness and completeness, so we do not need to fight, kill, and annihilate humanity. Please pray for the world and its people. Pray we can all have God in our Hearts, and have the true Shalom, God's peace. Peace on Earth goodwill toward men! We need to allow God in our Lives, that is what Christmas is, God sent His son Jesus to save us. We need to turn from sin, follow the Ten Commandments, stop sinning and killing others. We can and need to save all of humanity when we put God and His Commandments first in our lives. Merry Christmas all! May we have peace here on this Earth!
