Sinning Less to Know Jesus Better! Sin is Lawlessness, Our World Today is Lawless Living Without God!

 

If you consider that God is righteous,

you also know that everyone who acts in righteousness

is begotten by him.

See what love the Father has bestowed on us

that we may be called the children of God.

Yet so we are.

The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Beloved, we are God’s children now;

what we shall be has not yet been revealed.

We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him,

for we shall see him as he is.

Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure,

as he is pure.

Everyone who commits sin commits lawlessness,

for sin is lawlessness.

You know that he was revealed to take away sins,

and in him there is no sin.

No one who remains in him sins;

no one who sins has seen him or known him.

~1 John 2:29–3:6

We need law and order in our world! Like this Bible verse talks about most lawlessness is sin. Our world is so deep in sin. So many live without God and just do not care. We have become a society that is greedy, corrupt, and self-serving, it starts at the top with our elected, so called leaders, government, and powers that be, they are all like that and are so lawless, now we have a society like this too, a lawless, careless, and irresponsible society as a whole. Not many take responsibility for much, like work, being a good citizen, follow the 10 Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, or just being a person of goodwill. It is sad so many are complicit. We all need to work on sinning less and knowing Jesus better.  We need to be disciples for Christ and work toward bringing people over to God, not sinning, caring, and being more responsible. When we as a society are less lawless, when we all care for one another and the world, when we don't act selfishly, and are responsible, then we will have a better world, a world with people living more with God in their hearts!
