Practicing the Presence of God at All Times!

 

Be still and know that I am God.

-Psalm 46:10

God promises us in the Bible that His presence goes with us. Do we take Him with us at all times though? We really need to live our lives with God present in our lives at all times. We need to practice this every minute of the day. In the book The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn she talks about this as well and we see it in the Bible as well in many verses. God wants to know us. We are created by Him in His image, He loves us, forgives us, and has mercy for us. He wants us to be part of Him, living each moment in His presence. What a blessing, what a great God we serve! He doesn't ask much, but it seems so hard for all of us to do, to follow Hic Commandments, to live by the teachings of His son Jesus, as our example, and to be people of goodwill. We need to let Him lead us, guide us, instruct us, bring us where we need to be and accept His will be done in our lives. It is so critical to live with the presence of God always, talk to Him, pray to Him, love Him and know that He is God! Feel His joy and peace!
