We Need to Be Perfect Like God! We Need to Love Everyone, Even Our Enemies! We Need to stop the Hate Today!

 

Jesus said to his disciples:

"You have heard that it was said,

You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.

But I say to you, love your enemies,

and pray for those who persecute you,

that you may be children of your heavenly Father,

for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,

and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.

For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?

Do not the tax collectors do the same?

And if you greet your brothers and sisters only,

what is unusual about that?

Do not the pagans do the same?

So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."

~Matthew 5:43-48

It is not about just loving our families and neighbors, but all people, even our enemies and people who hate us, we need to love all. Today we have a divided society with so many haters. The hate has become more apparent in the past few years, they target and persecute people, even political persecution, acting as if doing unlawful things is fine, since they hate someone so much and say they are evil. We need to be careful with this flawed logic. All hate is wrong! All! God wants all of us to work toward perfection. He made us in His image. While we may not be perfect, we can work toward it by following His Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and trying to always be people of goodwill. We need to work toward that perfect and stop all the hate, judgement, and indifference today. Hate is the Anti-Christ that Edgar Casey talks about. We need to stop all hate, find love for all, look for the good, count our blessings and stop all the hate, negativity, criticism, and complaining. Look for the positive, be loving, and stay joyful in the Lord. We need to love and work toward that perfection as talked about in the above reading in Matthew. It is all about love for all! For all!
