Believe in the Accompanying Signs from Jesus: Go into the Whole World and Proclaim the Gospel!

 

Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them:

“Go into the whole world

and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved;

whoever does not believe will be condemned.

These signs will accompany those who believe:

in my name they will drive out demons,

they will speak new languages.

They will pick up serpents with their hands,

and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them.

They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them,

was taken up into heaven

and took his seat at the right hand of God.

But they went forth and preached everywhere,

while the Lord worked with them

and confirmed the word through accompanying signs.

~Mark 16:15-20

We are called! We are given power from Jesus when we believe. We need to live in Spirit. Not in this world of sin and flesh. Today we see so much evil. However, we do not need to take part of and follow any of that. We know it is there, but Jesus gave us the power to overcome it all. He gave us a commission to be disciples, to be His apostles and spread His world to all the world!  That is our job, to those who believe.  We need to believe! Like it says in the Bible verse, Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Sounds quite simple and harsh, but God wants our hearts, He wants our conversion, He wants us to follow Jesus, reflect Jesus in all we do in life so to make this world a better place. It is easy to fall for the devil, Satan, and be his slave, it is hard to follow and reflect Jesus, but we are called to do just that! We are called to spread the good news to the whole world! We have the power to heal! Even the author Randy Clark talks about this in his book Power to Heal. It has been well documented in the Bible and in history of people healing others, Jesus and God have, but they have given others the power to do so as well, we all can to those who believe, we can according to the Holy Scriptures. Peter and many of the disciples healed and did the Lord's work after he ascending into Heaven. Preach to all! Warn against sin! Call others to Jesus!  Pray and heal! Try your best to reflect Jesus in all your life! Live in Spirit and do not let the things of this world bring your down, do not become a slave for Satan. Follow Jesus and believe, believe in His accompanying signs!
