Remember that the Spirit Gives Life, While the Flesh is of No Avail!

 

Many of the disciples of Jesus who were listening said,

"This saying is hard; who can accept it?"

Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this,

he said to them, "Does this shock you?

What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

It is the Spirit that gives life, while the flesh is of no avail.

The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life.

But there are some of you who do not believe."

Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe

and the one who would betray him.

And he said, "For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me

unless it is granted him by my Father."

As a result of this,

many of his disciples returned to their former way of life

and no longer walked with him.

Jesus then said to the Twelve, "Do you also want to leave?"

Simon Peter answered him, "Master, to whom shall we go?

You have the words of eternal life.

We have come to believe

and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God."

~John 6:60-69

Recall that they killed Jesus, they murdered Him, had Him crucified, because He came from God, the son of God, Emmanuel, God with us to teach us, to show us an example of how to live, a model for all human beings, but the authorities did not what Jesus showing His powers. There is power in Jesus, even today! The authorities, the governments, the elected don't want you to know this or use it. Hold on! We have the words of eternal life promised to us by Jesus Himself. He is the Holy One of God, Jesus! We need to stop worrying about things of this world, carnal desires, material things, money, gold, power, etc. We cannot become greedy and selfish, consumed by this world of lust and evil, pure wickedness of things here, that is all satan tempting you, he is the god of Earth, he wants you to be consumed by this world, not of the one Jesus talks about and promises to us. Rise up! Listen to the voice of Jesus! Live with the Holy Spirit within! The flesh is of no avail, they could not kill Jesus, He rose from the dead! We will too, we are Heaven bound when we follow Jesus, trust and believe in Him! It is written, it is proven, read the Bible! You won't cry when you are in the lap of Jesus when you leave this Earth world journey, when you are in Heaven! We are promised an eternal life with Jesus, our flesh has no hold on us!
