This is one of the biggest problems today in our society and world. Greed and selfishness. So many are envious and selfish. All evil comes from them, it is so true. We see it especially from our governments, elected, and powers that be and it then trickles down to society as a whole. It is sad and humanity needs our prayers! We live in a "Me" society, it is all about me me me! Sad to see. We see so much greed, corruption, fraud, selfish and self-serving ways from our elected, so much mediocrity. We see so much evil and wickedness today in our world. It is sad to see, no law and order. So many of the "do gooders" are the big problem today, they say for humanity or for our environment, but it is all a lie and hypocrisy. They reject God and Jesus, but use other humanitarian causes to say how things should be, yet their envy and selfishness all comes out. I have seen it in work, society, and government. It is sad to see. We allow so much lawlessness in this name, then we wonder why we have so much crime and problems. Where is the logic? We allow all sin and make excuses for it, like allowing the killing of babies. So many seem to be such slaves for Satan today. James offers us a great reminder about envy and selfishness, we all see it today all around us and in government, it has destroyed our fabric of society and with so many without God and Jesus, we are hurting with so much envy, selfishness, and greed. All we can do is pray!
