His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed! What a Blessing!

As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow;  the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze. A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened. In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.  He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

~Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14

Today the Catholic Church in mass celebrates the Transfiguration of Jesus. Ironically, in the Book of Daniel, Daniel the prophet foretells and shares this event in the Old Testament and it is also documented in the New Testament in Mark 9:2-10. What a blessing and miracle! To see Jesus transfigured into God, now His dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. We need to remember that Jesus will come back to rule the world. He will be the just judge and He is the King of the Universe. We need to put all our trust in Him. Have faith in Him, worship Him, not money or things of this world. We need to be careful not to be slaves for the god of earth, Satan, but worship Jesus and follow Him. God gave us Jesus, He is Emmanuel, God with us, our example of how to live, our model of a citizen to follow, we need to reflect and imitate Him! He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him! That is what we need to do. It is very clear in the Old Testament and New Testament, Jesus is the Messiah, He is the Savior, He is God and King of the Universe! We need to follow Him! Only put God on a pedestal, follow only Jesus!
