It is due to God that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that, as it is written, Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord only!

 

Consider your own calling, brothers and sisters.

Not many of you were wise by human standards,

not many were powerful,

not many were of noble birth.

Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise,

and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong,

and God chose the lowly and despised of the world,

those who count for nothing,

to reduce to nothing those who are something,

so that no human being might boast before God.

It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus,

who became for us wisdom from God,

as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,

so that, as it is written,

Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.

~1 Corinthians 1:26-31

It is due to God that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that, as it is written, Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord only! What a statement in the Bible! Give all glory to God! He gave us Jesus, we are saved through this! We are blessed! Count your blessings each day! Give thanks to God for all, as all comes from Him! We see so many talking a good talk today, acting like such good doers for humanity, act so righteous, yet reject Jesus and God! How sad! They have a mentality that because of all their so called humanitarian causes and all the so called good doing they propose, the world will be a better place, yet, reject God, do not want you to talk about Jesus, you are not allowed to read from the Bible or give glory to the Lord. They boast and boast about all they have done, but do not give any glory to God who works through us! Today in our society and world, we have a lot of supposed do gooders, they try to act so upright, as if it is their right to determine the fate of all humanity, their causes, their injustice, their issues, their insecurities. They reject and dismiss sin, as if it is all okay.  It is sad to see, we see a lot of this in government, the elected, and powers that be, they all act like such do gooders, and boast, yet are they doing it for God and His people, or are they boasting and tooting their own horns? It is all from God, because He gave us Jesus, accept His wisdom, as God otherwise will prove you wrong.  Like the Bible verse says above again, It is due to God that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that, as it is written, Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord only!
