My Soul finds Peace in God Alone!

We always need to remember humans always hurt each other. Look what humans did to Jesus! They persecuted Him and had Him murdered, He was an innocent man, never did anything wrong, He came to be our Savior, for us to change our ways, to not sin, He was the example God gave us of how to live,  to live holy and upright lives, yet the people did not want that, especially the elected, priests, government gangsters, and powers that be. They are some of the worst slaves for Satan. When we are confronted with persecution and injustice, we need to find refuge in God alone and know He will get us through it and vindicate us. Tonight I was listening to the news about a story of Jonathan Strand who was unfairly put in jail and put for four month in solitary confinement for speaking out against injustice, all he did was protecting a lady he was hired to protect and standing up for his rights, yet the government gangsters put him in jail and then in solitary confinement for fur months for speaking out to a reporter on a show, sharing his experiences and what happened describing the injustice and setup he experienced. During this lonely and dark time, he found God as his refuge and grew closer to God, like St. Paul did once turned to Jesus, he become one of His strongest advocates. John's story is so touching and how he described how his conviction for God grew out of the dark times he experienced. It is so true, we can grow closer, when we see sorrow or injustice. Paul Billheimer in his book, Don't Waste Your Sorrows, speaks about this as well, we need sorrows, we need injustice, we need unfair experiences and persecution, all of this makes us stronger, makes us ready for Heaven, to be called to God, Some of our greatest adversities can be a blessing and miracle to draw us closer to God and get us ready or change us so that we are better prepared to enter into the Kingdom of God in Heaven. He knows we are sinners, we all will have upsets and trials, they can make us stronger and more ready to become the people God made us to be. We need to find refuge in God, humans will always disappoint, but God never will, we cannot waste our sorrow letting them hold us back from our true mission and number one priority, Heaven and life eternal with Jesus! All we need to do is find refuge in God!
