For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

I saw this Bible verse today in my prayer I read each day. It is so true. So many just continue to sin and live for this world, they do not live in Spirit, they live for this world, consuming, sinning, having carnal desires, and thinking wealth and material goods are what define or make them. We see this especially from our elected, government officials, and powers that be. They sell their souls and throw God out with the bath water to get money at any cost, if they have to cheat, steal, and lie and deceive. They think money is the answer, selling their souls to the devil, being slaves for Satan in a world of materialism. Our so-called leaders today are the worst examples for the citizenry. Most lack God, have no faith, do not follow or walk with Jesus and just are devoid of any faith or principles. They sin and sin, promoting it, making excuses for it, not being concerned at all with their souls or salvation. Our elected too, they act like people won't find out the truth, but the truth always prevails. We see so-called leaders taking millions from China or gold bars from Egypt, or making stock exchanges using insider trading using the government access to make millions, as if all of this is okay to do. Some have no morals, principles, ethics, and integrity, like a large sector of the elected are greedy, selfish, and self-serving. It is sad to see. We all need to pray for their souls, their salvation, and their conversion to Jesus Christ! Because like it says in the Bible, For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
