The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Peace! Is peace and life eternal what you want? Then live in Spirit! That is the key take away from this Bible verse! This verse is such a great reminder for all of us! We need to live in Spirit. We are not of this world. We are going to go back home to Heaven to spend life eternal with Jesus! That is if we have our mind set on Spirit, not of flesh and materialism. You cannot please God when you live for this world of flesh and materialism. Don't be deceived by all the elected, elite, powers that be and government, they are not God, money, power, carnal, and material goods are not what please God or will get us into Heaven to spend eternity with Jesus! Don't become slaves for Satan and fall for hate, greed, corruption, fraud, negativity, and division. Don't let sin consume you and leave you going down instead of up to Heaven. We need to follow Jesus. God gave us Jesus, He is Emmanuel, God with us, to follow, imitate, and reflect. When we follow Him, we are promised life eternal! What is more important to you? Being consumed by this world and all the worries, or knowing we can have peace and life when we follow Jesus!
