True Christian liberty is not the power to live as we please but to live as we ought.

We need to learn to live as we ought! Which means obeying God, following Jesus, and doing His will be done in our lives as people of goodwill! If we are going to be true Christians, we need to follow Jesus, imitate Him, and reflect Him! That is what we are called to do! Not to sin!  We have the liberty, the freedom, the choices to live as we please, but we really should be living the way God wants us to. We need to be careful, to not sin or become slaves for Satan, instead stay focused on Jesus and be led by the Holy Spirit! That is what we need to do.  We are God's! We are here to serve. He gave us Jesus as our model, our example, our God with us, Emmanuel, to follow, imitate, and reflect Jesus, that is what we are called to do, and ought to do if we are a true Christian! Live a Christ honoring life led by the Holy Spirit!
