We must learn to trust our souls to the One who has overcome the tempter and provides for us in His way and time!

He was afterward an hungred. ...The tempter came.

~Matthew 4:2-3

Many people do not want you to talk about the devil or Satan. They do not like to believe that the devil is real and lurking. However, it is very clear in the Bible the devil is real, Satan or Lucifer are real and want our souls. They do not like you following Jesus or going to church or reading the Bible. They do not like you praying and following God, instead of falling to be his slaves. Today we need to be careful not to become slaves for Satan like so many have, mostly our elected, powers that be, and the ones who do not need God or the Bible. They think they are above God, often our governments think they are God. It is very sad to see, They all show signs of being slaves for Satan, following the devil, instead of God.

The Mornings with God App today spoke about the devil, they said, "The devil knows when to strike. He waits for moments of weakness, exhaustion, or loneliness to bring his temptations. He doesn’t tempt us with things we don’t want, but with desires that appeal to our natural cravings. Satan waits for vulnerable times, like when Elijah was drained after the contest on Mount Carmel, and led him into despair. Or when a homesick, lonely young person seeks company that may lead to ruin. Satan’s temptations are often tailored to fit our specific needs or desires. When Jesus was hungry after fasting for forty days, Satan tempted Him to turn stones into bread. Many people today face similar temptations when in need. They may be tempted to steal, cheat, or compromise their values to get what they lack. But we must learn to trust our souls to the One who has overcome the tempter and provides for us in His way and time."

While many never want you to talk about the devil, many also never want you to talk about God, Jesus, or the Bible either. They do not take their salvation seriously. Our number one goal, our number one priority in life should be getting into Heaven, to spend life eternal with Jesus. We need to follow Him! We need to live like Him, reflecting and imitating Him, not being slaves for Satan and sinning, being selfish, and greedy. We are called for a higher and holy calling, one from God to follow Jesus, to walk with Him, not being slaves for Satan, being tricked by the devil to live for this world! We need to live for Heaven!
