God wants us to boldly declare that we belong to Him, not just in church or in safe spaces, but everywhere—in our workplaces, social settings, and even among those who oppose Him!
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master.
~Matthew 10:25
My faith impacts everything that I do because I do believe that through God, all things are possible. And so I always ask God to bless everything that I do and the people that I work with, and to bring all the right things and right people into my life and to take the wrong ones out...I try to shine with it and let them see it through me. We’re all pieces of God and we all have that little God-light inside us. Some don’t get to let it shine. If I don’t see it first out, I’d go searching. That’s how I accept everybody because I know that we’re all pieces of God...My life purpose is to 'do something for God.
~Dolly Parton
God wants us to boldly declare that we belong to Him, not just in church or in safe spaces, but everywhere—in our workplaces, social settings, and even among those who oppose Him! This is so true! I love when I see people, famous people like Dolly Parton, Kathie Lee Gifford, Mel Gibson, or even our President or Vice President now, who value life and talk about God and their Savior Jesus Christ! We need to be proud to be His follower and sing His praises. I know I always do, but even family, friends, and others, never want you to talk about Jesus, God, the Bible, or sin. It is sad to see today, although I take pride in doing so nonetheless.
Today the Mornings With God App had a nice message about all of this, they said, "Jesus never promised His disciples an easy path. He suffered, and we can’t expect to have it better than our Master. However, we can always be sure of God’s protection. Jesus’ statement about God numbering the hairs on our heads shows that even the smallest details of our lives are included in His care. One of Christ’s most powerful teachings is about confessing Him before others. He wants us to boldly declare that we belong to Him, not just in church or in safe spaces, but everywhere—in our workplaces, social settings, and even among those who oppose Him. If we publicly own Him in this life, He will own us before His Father in the next. It will be a great honor to have Christ confess us on Judgment Day, but we must be willing to stand for Him now, no matter the cost."
If we publicly own Jesus in this life, He will own us before His Father in the next. Our number one priority in life should be getting into Heaven, in working toward this, we need to behave in a holy and upright way, following Jesus, imitating and reflecting Him. He has called us to be His disciples too, to speak on His behalf calling others to Him, converting sinners into saints, helping them to get into Heaven too! That is our calling! I love Jesus and choose to follow Him! I will not deny Him!
