We must live our lives beautifully, purely, unselfishly, and helpfully!

Thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee.

~Deuteronomy 8:2

We must live our lives beautifully, purely, unselfishly, and helpfully! We need to live as people of goodwill, upright and holy! Following the call God gave us of following Jesus, imitating, and reflecting Him! Unfortunately, when we do, we get a lot of people falling off the bandwagon, they are turned off by anyone mentioning Jesus, the Bible, of God. It is sad to see, they prefer sin and apathy to things of this world, over God, and following Jesus as our way to life eternal in Heaven!

Mornings With God App today said, "Memory is an amazing thing. It’s like a vault where we store the experiences of our lives. An invisible hand records everything—what we do, think, and feel. We are the authors of our own memories, writing our own life stories. There’s a story about children being told that the sound they hear when holding a seashell to their ear is the echo of the sea, a reminder of the days when the shell lay on the shore. In a similar way, the sounds we hear in our hearts as life goes on are the echoes of our past. If we want those echoes to be beautiful, harmonious, and uplifting, we must live our lives beautifully, purely, unselfishly, and helpfully. Mistakes and sins in youth can create painful memories later on. The secret to a happy old age is living well, carefully, and thoughtfully from the very beginning. Any careless moment can leave a mark that saddens the years to come."

We all live with bad memories or doing something bad that has held us back. Sometimes it is good that our conscience helps us to stay holy and upright. God is calling us! So many ignore Him or do not follow Him and His calling for us to follow Jesus, but Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, He is our only way to Heaven and spending life eternal with Him in Heaven! We must live our lives beautifully, purely, unselfishly, and helpfully!
