Today there are a lot of people who do no know God. They maybe haven't been baptized, or have become possessed by the devil and are slaves for Satan today. It is sad to see. We are called to imitate Jesus! God gave Him to us, to follow, reflect, and imitate. It is all about Jesus in this life school journey! We are called to follow Him! Unfortunately, we see so much evil and sin today. Plus so many excuses for sin. It is hard and sad to see. All the greed, corruption, fraud, hate, mediocrity, sin, and excuses, so much due to hate or fear of praying or turning to Jesus. So many do not have God in them. They deflect Him and reject all related to God, Jesus, and the Bible, God forbid you talk about church, Jesus, God, or the Bible, they reject it or call you a nazi or hypocrite, when really they are the haters and hypocrites. We see it all the time. Why don't people take sin and evil seriously? Why do they not want to go to Heaven? Has Satan taking a stronghold over many now? Good questions to ask here, it is sad to see, and we need to pray, we need to remain vigilant and follow Jesus nonetheless, the Bible is very clear about that and what will happen, like in Luke 13:28: "In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out." We need to know God if we want to go to Heaven, we need to follow Jesus, to reflect and imitate Him!
