What a day to soak in the beach waters, it was so calm and absolutely lovely today! God is always so good to me!

 

What a day to soak in the beach waters, it was so calm and absolutely lovely today! God is always so good to me! I spent my entire time today at the beach in the water in this area of the beach, praying almost the entire time. The water was so nice and calmer. Absolutely lovely! God showed me another glimpse of Heaven today! I feel so blessed to be so young and have been able to retire. What a blessing and privilege! I have had a privileged life! God has been with me from the beginning, my parents were very holy and church goers, they taught me to know Jesus at a young age. I was blessed, I almost died as a toddler, but was saved by the grace of God. My mother thought I would never talk or do well. But I did. I never tried hard in school, but always passed, not with great grades, but fair, I decided to go to college late, the restaurant I worked for in high school wanted me to become a manager and I did the training and was for a while, but always wanted to be a teacher, so went to college and pursued my dreams. I got through, worked very hard, paid for all myself and was blessed to have many blessings on my path, from teaching in schools, overseas, to my school paying for most of my masters, to being invited to work on my Ph.D. with an all paid for assistantship. Things all fell into place, God was making things happen, I prayed a lot and kept my faith and still do today. I have had a blessed career in education for about 38 years, teaching math and working with teacher training. I won many teaching awards, always had great evaluations, published over 100 papers, presented at hundreds of conference around the world, I have had a blessed, privileged, and accomplished career and I give most of the credit to the Almighty and Jesus for being with me. What I have really learned the past several months is that love really does win over all the hate. I was blessed to be offered an early retirement after so many years teaching, I have had so many wonderful students, but it was time, now I am retired and living the privileged life God promised to those who serve the Lord.  Today was another blessing, another day the Lord has made and I am rejoicing in it. God has been so good to me and I will continue to count all my blessings giving Him all the glory!
