Do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit!

 

For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

Do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit! What a great Bible verse reminder! We need to stop sinning! To live in Spirit! The great war in life really is between flesh and Spirit. We need to let the Holy Spirit of God lead us, guide us, bring us where God  needs us to be for Him! He gave us Jesus as our example, our model to follow, reflect, and imitate. We are called to live in Spirit and not sin! We are promised life eternal in Heaven with Jesus when we follow Him! So many today instead of being servants for Christ, are slaves for Satan instead, they follow hate, negativity, and live in misery, complaining and hating often not even knowing why they hate. It is sad to see. We need to be positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord! We need to live in Spirt, not sin, and follow Jesus! We all know that Jesus was tempted, we are too, but when we see, hear, and feel the hate, cancel culture, and wokeness, we need to reject the dismissiveness and follow Jesus!  Again, do not conform, do not, live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit! Letting Jesus live in you!
