I love these songs! This Bette Midler song, Wind Beneath My Wings, was one of my favorites and she wanted it played at her funeral. My mother was a saint! She went through such a horrible battle with cancer and worse with the hospice drugs. She is in Heaven now, no more suffering or pain. She endured so much and was the best mother. She raised us to know Jesus and always tried to emulate Him in her life with us. When we were driving from the church for her funeral to the cemetery, this song, Everything I Do I Do It for You by Bryan Adams came on the radio and also the song from Bette Midler, both played as we drove to the cemetery. We knew it was a sign from mom that she was okay and looking down on us. We gave her an honorable funeral and did all she requested for it. It has been almost 14 years since she passed, but she still lives in my heart and I feel her so close to me. I have to say she was the best mother I could ever ask for from God, everything she did, she did it for us her children and husband. She was a saint and I love her so much and I am so grateful and blessed to have the best mother on the planet, she is the wind beneath my wings as I go about this Earth School journey, trying to love all I can in a world of so much hate and negativity. Using her and Jesus to get me through all to be positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord always knowing there is a better place for us, a place of life eternal in Heaven with Jesus when we follow Him!
