Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Heavenly Father!

 

Jesus said to his disciples:

"You have heard that it was said,

You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.

But I say to you, love your enemies,

and pray for those who persecute you,

that you may be children of your heavenly Father,

for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,

and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.

For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?

Do not the tax collectors do the same?

And if you greet your brothers and sisters only,

what is unusual about that?

Do not the pagans do the same?

So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."

~Matthew 5:43-48

Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Heavenly Father! This is what Jesus said to do. Like He said, For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? It is so true! We need to love all, not just the people we know and love, but all, even those that persecute us or our enemies. Love all, that is the challenge! Today however, we see a lot of hate, I mean a lot. Hate is just so unjustified. Some hate not even understanding their hate, just to hate, almost like a cult or group who become deranged and do so much evil, causing so many problems. We see it today against our current President and Elon Musk who are only trying to make America great again, they use liberal left hater radical judges and groups to block and stop all, even use violence and vandalism to destroy all and cause so much damage and chaos. It is sad to see, so many have become such slaves for Satan today, they do not follow or heed this passage in Matthew from Jesus, He clearly says love all, enemies and those who persecute you. Also, we see so much persecution of  Christians, as reported recently, something like seven thousand Christians have been murdered in Syria for their faith, how sad. In Mexico they are killing Catholic priests, it is sad to see all this religions persecutions against Christians and this faith. Our country and world need our prayers, we need to heed the advice from Jesus here and follow, reflect, and imitate Him! To love all, even our enemies, even those who persecute us, in the name of Jesus, we are promised life eternal when we do and we do not need to live in fear! God is for us, He is on our side, when we follow Him! When we love like Him!
