What a great Bible verse to keep in mind for all of us! We need to be about love and kindness. This shows we know God, when we reflect Jesus, imitating Him in our actions in life. God gave us Jesus for this reason, so that we follow, reflect, and imitate His son, Jesus! Unfortunately, today we see so many without any love or kindness displayed. They are unhappy and live selfish miserable lives without God. They are unhappy. Unhappy in this world, because they try to live without God. We need God. And if we have Him we are happy, living positive, loving, and joyful lives praising our Lord. You can always tell if a person has God or not, are they loving? Are they kind? We even have known priests from our old church who did not have God, can you believe it? A priest without God? But they are out their. They are unhappy, wrestling with their own demons, not knowing how to treat all people in their parish. All we can do is pray for them. But this Bible verse from John is very clear, we need to show love and kindness, this shows we have God in us, live with His Holy Spirit! Be like Jesus!
