I love my walks around the pond, lake, and time at the beach! We are so blessed by God and we know it! God is so good to us. All we need to do is look for all the blessings in our lives! I have had so many blessings and thank God daily for all of them! He gave me the best parents I could ever ask for, they were wonderful and provided for a great upbringing and faith in God. I am so grateful that they raised us Catholic and to know Jesus. God's timing is always perfect, he brought my spouse that way. Even my jobs, the one in Mexico City was all is timing and doing. To go to Colombia to teach too, and spend almost 30 years as a professor in Florida, I know God was behind it all and I am so grateful for it. Each day God makes for us anew, He made the day, to be joyful and grateful, to pray and to love and know Him, to love others like Jesus talks about, to follow, reflect, imitate and love like Him! I am so lucky to have our house in the country. I love my walks in the late afternoon around the pond and by the bigger lake. Today I saw some berries, they reminded me of the Colombian Golden berries, but here the are called ground cherries. They are all from the same family. They grow wild, I researched them and then I picked some and we tried one, they are even better than the Colombian version as they are not as tart. Nice and orange and sweet, they smell so sweet. I see them all over wild here, what a new blessing for me! And they are so healthy with so much Vitamin A, C, and D. I love my beach and pond, my walks, my prayer time with the Lord, for all He has done for us, we are blessed beyond measure and we know it!
