The law is good when it is followed!

 

What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”[b] 8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. 9 Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. 10 I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death. 11 For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death. 12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

Romans 7:7-12

The law is good when it is followed! But now, with Jesus dying for our sins, He died for all our transgressions and iniquities, we are forgiven. While many are dead to sin, we do not have to live that way, we can turn to a life eternal when we follow Jesus! When we reflect and imitate Him, when we love like Him! Today there is a lot of sin and hate, so many do not want any law, they make excuses for all the sin, like abortion, or hating others, they want you to join their club of sin and hate. Just don't do it! Recall that Jesus died for our sins, we are promised life eternal in Heaven when we follow Him! We do not need to die to sin, we are forgiven, we serve a loving and merciful God who purchased for us life eternal when we follow Jesus in this Earth School journey! What a blessing! The law is good, but only when we follow it! As we know, many today nor in the past wanted to follow it. They allow sin to hold them past, they allow their hate to make them slaves to Satan. They put things of this world, material, people, and worries above what God promised us, life eternal in Heaven with Jesus! We are called to stop sinning, to follow Jesus, to reflect and imitate Him, to love like Him, do not join the club of hate, cancel culture, and things of this world! We are promised when we live in Spirit with Jesus in us, we can be guided by His will be done doing what is right by the Lord!
