We need to look at everything, I mean everything, as a blessing from God! Today there are so many unhappy people. They are so negative, hate-filled, and living in misery. They complain about everything, are negative, judgmental, critical, and just hate all. They are unpleasant to be around for sure. All we can do is pray for people like this who are negative, hateful, and unhappy. When we show gratitude for all to God, when we pray, when we show love, positivity, and joy in the Lord, we receive so many blessings! It is not a coincidence. Some think it is luck, but it is not, it is God, we receive so many blessing each day. Our health each day is one of them. We have life today, breath, hope, family, love, a job, money, so many things. So many people cause their own demise and problems. A lot is due to negativity, lack of God, and no faith in themselves. I am trying to have and train myself to see everything as a blessing, I mean everything! Recently since COVID, I know it has caused much damage to so many, but when long time friends cancel me, ignore me, hate me for loving Jesus and my faith or my current President in office, when they end a friendship because you won't join their club of hate. Do not feel offended, just pray for them. Honestly, this cancel culture is a blessing. It is a blessing in that I no longer have to listen to, talk to, or hear their hate and negativity anymore in my life, that is a blessing in itself. All things can be looked at as blessings. I read recently how someone was in an accident, and from that they discovered that the person had a cancer, which would never have been detected unless the accident brought it to the doctors attention early so that they could save her, so even an accident is a blessing. When friends, family, loved ones, or neighbors dismiss and cancel you, or turn on you, think of it all as a blessing. When a preacher doesn't send a book you paid for and you lose respect for them, it is a blessing. When the priest at church ignores you and won't look at you, it is a blessing. So many today are dealing with their own drama and issues, forgive them, move on, shake the dust off, and show love, mercy, and grace, but move on, it is a blessing that you not longer have to contend with the hate and negativity anymore. I was blessed last May with an offer for an early retirement. I was hoping and praying for it, as the last time they offered a few years ago, I was not of age to qualify, this time I was, it was a blessing to get done. My work, had become so woke, so full of haters and cancel culture, so many so insecure, envious, and jealous of others who had a successful research agenda. I was blessed! I was blessed to meet my spouse on a run one evening, we collided into each other and it was love every since. I was blessed to get my Master's Degree through a program that my work supplemented and I only had to pay $25 per course, so my entire degree cost about $300 and then I was invited to get my Ph.D. with an assistantship that paid for all my three year doctorate degree, I have had so many blessing in my life, I can go on and on. My parents were my greatest blessing to raise me Christian and Catholic to know Jesus and to follow Him. That was the best blessing! I will each day count my blessings, knowing even some that seemed hurtful at times, are really blessings in disguise as well, God is so good all the time, His blessings are never ending! Each day live your life counting your blessings and being grateful, pray to God and give thanks, be positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord, these are the keys to all happiness and success, yes, we need to look at everything, I mean everything, as a blessing from God!
