It is so true that we are going out into a world full of evil, with unholy influences on every side. We have no power of our own to move through this evil world and keep ourselves unspotted. We must come to God for graces to help us. God gave us Jesus, He is our model, our example of how to live and who to follow. We are called to follow, reflect, imitate, and love like Jesus! He gives us new graces each day, all we need to do is trust in Him and His mercies!

We come as Your children to You at the beginning of a new day. Your mercies are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. We ask You to show us Your face before we go out into the day. If we have Your blessing, we will not fear any experiences we may have to meet. In the light of Your countenance may we walk all the hours of this day—and then we shall be safe. Put holy thoughts and heavenly aspirations into our hearts. We desire to live the heavenly life in this world, and we can only do so if You put Your thoughts into our minds. Life is not easy! But if we have God guiding us, if we follow the example of Jesus, things can be easier for us as we journey this Earth School. We need to ask God to put holy thoughts and heavenly aspirations into our hearts each day.  It is important that we desire to live the heavenly life in this world, and we can only do so if You put Your thoughts into our minds. We need you Lord! Please keep us from evil and joining any hate club or hurting others. Protect us from all evil and any slave of Satan.  May He always show us mercy. We need to live with the Holy Spirit within, guiding us, showing us the right way to live. We need to pray, count our blessings, be positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord. If we want a happy, healthy, and life filled with peace, we need Jesus and the Holy Spirit guiding us as we go about!
