What a statement today! What a quote! I read this in the morning when reading the App, Mornings with God. It really resonated with me. I really think this is so true. Especially after being a college professor for almost 30 years. I was an educator for 38 years. I started teaching middle school math in 1987. I was blessed to be able to go to college. I started at the community college, worked while I studied, then went to the university, worked summers and some weekends to get my B.S., I was a teacher and was offered a master's program for $25 a course with my school paying for most of the program for the university degree, MA Ed. and then offered to go receive my Ph.D. where I had a research/teaching assistantship working and teaching being paid and getting my doctorate for free so to speak, but I had to work for it. I worked hard. I was blessed and privileged with many wonderful educational opportunities. God has been good to me. My education was a blessing. However, my upbringing going to church, being raised Catholic, having wonderful parents who taught me about Jesus and had a Bible in our house was even more important. After working for so many years at the university, seeing so much, so many who do not want you to talk about God, the Bible, Jesus, or religion, so many are so against anything God. It was sad for me to see, they become high and mighty in their ivory tower, but neglect and deny God and anyone who believes. I did have one Dean who was a good Christian who I admired. While I was a professor, and mostly more recently, the past 5-10 years was so much hate, DEI, CRT, wokeism, and cancel culture. It was sad for me to see, a lot of real insecure professors who push a lot of what they call dismantling of white privilege, which seems racist and to be more of just insecurity more than anything. I saw a lot of foreign hire professors now at American universities that are insecure, they push a lot of rhetoric of woke insecurity using CRT, DEI, and cancel culture if you do not get on their hate bandwagon. Many are insecure because of accents, language, being born coming from another country, and not have the English language skills to do as well as Americans in research and publications, so they out of insecurity, belittle and knock down others in the name of race, DEI, CRT, woke ideology, etc. and make everything about that.  It is all very sad to see. I just never followed it or get involved in that, I would never join a hate club or be bothered with people who would cancel others, it is not healthy. It is not Christian. So many even say they are Christians, but actions always spoke louder than words. I agree, people can have all these college degrees and have lots of so called education, but do not know the Bible, Jesus, God or religion, but yes, a thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education! You can always see the difference between someone who knows the Bible and goes to church over some Ph.D. who hates, cancels others, or pushes a woke ideology canceling others, that is not love or show they really know Jesus or the Bible!
